What are Light Bulbs

A bulb is a common component in light fixtures that produces light through the use of electricity. Bulbs come in many shapes, sizes, and types, and are designed to fit into specific light fixtures.

The most common types of bulbs used in light fixtures are incandescent, fluorescent, and LED bulbs. Incandescent bulbs produce light by heating a filament inside the bulb until it glows, while fluorescent bulbs use a gas to produce ultraviolet light that is then converted into visible light through a phosphorescent coating. LED bulbs, on the other hand, use a semiconductor to produce light and are known for their energy efficiency and long lifespan.

Bulbs can also be designed to produce different types of light, such as warm white, cool white, or daylight. The color temperature of the bulb affects the mood and ambiance of a room, with warm white bulbs creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, while cooler white bulbs are often used in task lighting for their bright and crisp illumination.
