Kaja is a hand-blown swirl glass globe pendant light — a Murano-style candy stripe spun through opal glass, in soft pink, blue, yellow or white. It hangs from a clear adjustable cord on a slim chrome canopy, takes a standard E26 screw-fit bulb (warm-white 2700K LED included) and is fully dimmable. Three globe sizes: 20 cm, 30 cm and 40 cm.

The look is lifted straight from 1970s Italian glasswork — the same fine diagonal swirl you see on vintage Venetian ball pendants, at a fraction of what an original costs. Lit, the opal glass turns the whole sphere into a soft glowing candy. Unlit, it reads as a quiet piece of colour on the ceiling.

Which size Kaja should you choose?

The 20 cm is a bedside, hallway or nook light, and looks best in a pair or a cluster of three. The 30 cm is the everyday size — one over a bedroom, or a run of two to three over a dining table or kitchen island. The 40 cm is the statement: a single globe over a stairwell, a living room, or a double-height entry.

How high should you hang a globe pendant over a dining table?

Leave 75–90 cm (30–35 in) between the tabletop and the bottom of the globe. Over a kitchen island, go slightly tighter at 75–80 cm so the light pools on the counter. The cord is adjustable at the canopy, so you can shorten it during install without cutting anything.

Is the Kaja dimmable?

Yes. The socket is a standard E26, so Kaja dims on any compatible wall dimmer as long as you use a dimmable bulb. The warm-white 2700K LED in the box gets you started, and swapping in a dimmable bulb later is a two-minute job — no rewiring, no special driver.

What bulb does Kaja take?

A standard E26 screw-fit bulb, and a warm-white 2700K LED is included. 2700K is the right call through coloured glass: it keeps the pink warm rather than chalky, and stops the blue reading cold and clinical. Anything above about 3000K starts to flatten the colour.

Is every globe identical?

No — each shade is hand-blown, so the pitch of the swirl and the density of the colour shift slightly from piece to piece, and the occasional small bubble is part of the process rather than a fault. If you are hanging a pair or a run of three, expect them to be siblings rather than clones.

Will it work outside the US?

Yes. Kaja runs on 110–240V, so the same fixture works on US, EU, UK and Australian mains. It is a hardwired ceiling fixture — it connects to a ceiling rose or junction box rather than a plug.

Does it suit a child's room?

It is one of the most popular reasons people buy this shape. The pink, blue and yellow globes read as playful without being cartoonish, and because it is a ceiling fixture there is nothing within reach. Hang the 20 cm or 30 cm and it will still look right when the room grows up.
