A single cone of brushed brass hung from a rigid rod, with a knurled brass collar at the top of the socket and nothing between the bulb and the room. Falk is a mid-century, American-retro single pendant — one shade, one bulb, one point of warm light directed down and out.

The shade is a shallow brass cone that reflects warm light back onto whatever's underneath it — a bar, a kitchen island, a reading corner, the end of a dining table. The knurled collar at the top of the socket is the only detail; the rest is pure geometry.

What is it made of?

Iron shade in a brushed-brass finish, matching knurled brass socket collar, rigid rod suspension (not a flexible cord). The bulb hangs visibly below the shade — this fixture is made to be looked at as much as to light the room.

What light does it give?

Takes a standard E27 bulb — bulb not included. We recommend a warm 2700K LED filament bulb to match the retro-industrial look. The exposed clear-glass filament bulb is what makes this fixture work; a cool white or an opaque LED will not do it justice.
