A reading light that clips to the shelf above your head. Nils is a Nordic task lamp in the Italian tradition — a brushed-aluminium shade on a chrome articulated arm, with a chrome clip clamp that mounts to any shelf edge, headboard rail, or desk lip. No drilling, no hard-wiring.

The arm bends in two places. Tilt the shade for a reading pool over a book, swing it up for ambient wash, or fold the whole thing flat against the shelf when you're not using it. Light reads warm from the included E27 bulb — soft enough for late reading, directional enough for actual work.

Where does it clip?

The chrome clamp opens to about 4 cm — enough for most shelves, headboards, bookshelf edges and desk lips. Not for glass or thin plywood that would mark. Attach it where you want focused warm reading light without wiring a new fixture.

What bulb does it take?

Nils takes a standard E27 bulb — the Edison-screw size used across the EU, UK and Australia. Ships with a warm-white LED bulb included, so you can clip it on and switch it on. Any E27 LED will fit later if you want to swap it for a smart bulb or a different colour temperature.

Where does it work best?

Beside a bed as a reading lamp, over a desk as a task light, on a bookshelf as a quiet accent, or on an open shelf in a workshop or studio. The articulated arm and clip make it the only "no-install" lamp in our range — move it between rooms, no tools required.
