It takes a standard E26 bulb, dims with any compatible dimmer, and ships with a warm 2700K bulb included.

Is a bulb included?

Yes. Sunna ships with a warm-white 2700K bulb in the box, so it works the moment you hang it. The socket is a standard E26, which means when the bulb eventually goes you replace it at any hardware store rather than replacing the whole fixture. That is the practical advantage of a socket over an integrated LED: the light is serviceable, not disposable.

Is Sunna dimmable?

Yes. Because it uses a standard E26 socket rather than a sealed LED module, Sunna works with any compatible wall dimmer as long as the bulb in it is a dimmable one. The included 2700K bulb is warm to begin with, and dimmed down over dinner it goes warmer still. This is the single biggest difference between Sunna and a fixed-output pendant, and it is the reason it suits a dining room.

How low should I hang it over a table?

Hang it so the bottom rim of the shade sits roughly 75 to 90 cm above the tabletop. That is low enough for the shade to do its job and contain the glare, and high enough to see the person across from you. The cord is adjustable at the canopy during installation, so you set the height once and leave it.

Where else does it work?

Anywhere you want a defined pool of light rather than general brightness. Over a kitchen island, above a breakfast bar, in a hallway with some ceiling height, or in a pair over a longer counter. The open bottom means it is a downlighter first, so treat it as task and mood lighting and keep a separate ceiling light for cleaning the room.
