Ella is a plug in wall sconce with a wooden wall plate and a glass shade. It plugs into any standard outlet, so there is no hardwiring and no electrician: hang it, plug it in and switch it on.

The glass softens the light into a warm glow and the wood adds a natural touch, so it suits a bedroom, living room, entryway or reading nook.

• No wiring: ideal for renters and for walls without a junction box.
• Easy to move: take it with you when you move, or try it in another room.
